I purchased $100 in AirBNB gift cards at Bed Bath and Beyond during a period when there was a rebate offer offering a $15 BBBY gift card if you purchase $100 or more of ANY 3rd party gift cards except VISA, MasterCard and BBBY gift cards. Besides my regular receipt, a 'rebate receipt' printed at the register stating where to submit the rebate online. A few weeks later, after submitting the rebate online and completing all required information from my receipt, I check on the status online. It stated that I had provided incomplete information. I phoned the rebate customer service number and was told that I had to send a picture of the receipt and upc codes, which was not stated or requested during the submission, and which I was never informed about until I checked up on it. I sent (email) the requested scans, and received a reply a few days later that my rebate is denied because I had not made the required purchase. I phoned again, and, after being on hold for 10 minutes before getting cut off, was told that I now have to wait 5 days because when someone submits the emailed scan,it gets escalated for someone to look at it. I the repeatedly asked him if he was escalating it, because I received a reply tat they denied it. He kept telling me it was escalated since I emailed the scan, while never stating he did anything. I then called back and stated I wanted to speak with a supervisor, and that I want to know why, if it was going to now be escalated because of the email scan, I already received a reply acknowledging the scan, and showing my original message's heading,and stating it was denied, and why the CSR wouldn't say he escalated anything or did anything. Then, for maybe 20 minutes, I was on the phone with them as he looked into it. I was then informed that they located my email and scan and the offer, and,saw that I purchased the required $100 in non VISA/MC/BBBY 3rd party gift cards, attempted to 'put the UPC of the gift cards into their system, were unable to do that and will not be honoring the offer or sending me the rebate.

Bed, Bath, & Beyond (BB&B) had a rebate offer going where if you buy $50 worth of gift cards then you get a $10 rebate good for B B &B products. I bought a $100 Nordstrom gift card at the BB&B store, filled out all the information requested including copies of the sales receipts and sent it in. Parago who is evidently the company that BB&B has contracted with to process their rebate offers sent me an email stating: Unfortunately, we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): Not enough purchased Invalid POS Record Not Found Invalid Purchase Location All of their "reasons" were of course invalid so I then talked directly with the BB&B representative (Karly Durfee) who had me send the receipt info directly to her. She verified that the information was indeed correct and forwarded it on to Parago, who promptly denied my claim again, this time stating: Unfortunately, we could not honor your request due to the following reason(s): Invalid POS Record Not Found Parago needs to be brought up on fraud charges. I will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint against them.

Parago (AKA Blackhawk Engagement Svcs) Rebate not received after over a year.

I had a runaround from Parago (AKA Blackhawk Engagement Solutions) regarding a rebate from H&R Block for their tax software that had gone on for over a YEAR! I received an email informing me of my Tracking Number and that my rebate was valid. After 10 weeks and no check, I called the number listed on the rebate form several times over a period of a year. Each time, I was given a runaround and told to give it another "3 weeks". Finally, I came across this website and saw a posting for a similar experience with Paragon and I called the number for Julie Spotisswood at Parago. 972- 538-**** I got a recording and left a message with the details of my rebate submission including tracking number. I didn't hear anything back but about a month later, I was surprised to receive my rebate check (15 months after my original submission). I note that the Better Business Bureau has also received a pattern of complaints about Parago. Here is the Alert & Action as reported on BBB's website on March 3, 2017 PATTERN OF COMPLAINTS On February 16, 2017 BBB notified Blackhawk Engagement Solutions of a pattern of complaints. Specifically, BBB has identified a pattern of allegations that Blackhawk Engagement Solutions failed to provide rebates and/or rebate cards to consumers within a reasonable period of time or at all. BBB has asked for Blackhawk Engagement Solutions cooperation in eliminating the underlying cause to this pattern of complaints. On March 3, 2017 Blackhawk Engagement Solutions provided the BBB with the steps they will implement in an effort to cooperate with the BBB in eliminating the cause for these complaints. They include: they will run monthly invoice aging reports and proactively work with their Client Services Team to expedite fulfillment releases. They plan on starting this by week of March the 13th, 2017. From this reporting, they will also notify the BBB on the steps they are taking to mitigate any complaints that could cause customer dissatisfaction. BBB will continue to monitor their complaint activity for the next 3,6,9, or up to 12 months to determine whether this pattern of complaints has been sufficiently addressed.

I received a letter from Joseph Richards & Associates claiming that Parago owed me $429.98. J.R. & Associates would send me the money after sending them the usual 10%, or $42.95. I have never heard of Parago, and J.R. & Associates is not going to get my $42.95.

its your money look it up at FLTreasurehunt.gov you can file a claim for free. It is your money that was never refunded to you.

Alleged rebate sent to my CORRECT address now found in NYS unclaimed funds

So here it is, Feb 2016. I check NYS Unclaimed from time to time and low and behold! They are holding a rebate from this company from 2012 to the same PO Box I have used for 30 years! Is it Parago or the USPS? If Parago, they certainly didn't do much to contact me. This *** website demands 80 words. Oh well, here I am typing BS just to make them happy. This just made it 69. But now it is 78 so bye!

This evening, I found a Parago Promotions listing in NYS Comptroller's Unclaimed Funds, for my sister-in-law, who is 'mentally challenged.' To my surprise, I found a listing in my late father's name, from an apartment, we lived in, 56-59 years ago. Any excitement I had, for my claim, has been overshadowed by these finding, for my sister-in-law. I spoke to her, earlier this evening, and I am mailing out the claim application form to her.

Verizon/Parago scam

We signed a two year contract with Verizon/Fios with the understanding that after the first three month we would receive a cash Card valued at 400.00. Six months out we're still waiting. Every time we call, I swear this is true, they say it's in the mail. They've supposedly reissued the card three times and every time it gets magically lost. According to them this has never happened before. I think it's time to call my lawyer. This has class action written all over it. I don't care who's to blame, Verizon or Parago, someone has to pay. Karma time!

Parago aks Blackhawk states they sent my visa card on July 24, 2019 yet I never received it, priority mail they have no tracking Record, States going to re-issue it and I will take another 15 days I’ve been waiting since July my $200 Visa card.

Parago Claiming 'Invalid Postmark Date'

The submission instructions were followed exactly and the form, receipt and UPC were mailed at the post office and in the time frame. This is the first time I have ever had an issue when submitting a rebate. Shame on Samsung for working with a company like this and shame on Parago whether it is certain employees or in fact intentional. There should be measures in place to make sure rebates are handled properly. I will spread the word about this situation.

DENIED Rebate - Out of Dates

I purchased item online thru Kohls. There were no rebate forms online and therefore I had no rebate code (the register printed this info if you bought in the store). I submitted my information using the only rebate form available (out of date) from Kohls.com. I was declined for being out of the dates of the rebate. I found the correct rebate code (they couldn't give it to me) and resubmitted to their Resubmissions Dept. I was again declined for being outside the dates of the rebate... DESPITE the fact that my resubmittal corrected the code to Nov 25-26 (purchased on 26th). Called Customer Service and was told that they would have to escalate it to a mgr becuz it looks like I am out of the purchase dates! It seems like they aren't considering the resubmitted data even though the response comes from the resubmission department. I again submitted thru the Resubmissions Dept that CLEARLY and PLAINLY denoted the correct rebate code, the dates of validity, my purchase dates (which falls there within), and another copy of my UPC. I was told a response would take about 7 days. After 8 days I am still showing "purchased out of dates". It's like a bad Seinfeld episode.

Parago Promo denied $75 rebate for Brother sewing machine

Purchased Brother INNOV'IS sewing machine during Black Friday sales event from Dealership in Riverside. Nice salesperson reeled me in with $75 rebate for more expensive model. I submitted all documents timely to Parago Promo Center only to be told rebate was denied, because of missing documents. I've resubmitted copies by letter, fax, corresponded by e-mail, live chat and they still insist that I didn't send original UPC code. Been getting the run-around for last month and doubt that I'll ever see $75 rebate. I'm not ready to give up just yet, any suggestions?

Just an update: A few days after posting my comments on your website, Jill Baber who works for Brother International contacted me. She viewed my comments on your website, and contacted Parago Promo to quickly resolve my complaint.

Shortly thereafter, I received my $75 rebate check.

Thank you Jill - it's nice to know that Brother International cares about its customers. If I hadn't run across your (Pissed Consumer)website, I'd probably still be fighting with Parago Promo; so many thanks to you for letting me air my frustration.

Parago rebates are nothin but scams for metro pcs

I submitted my rebate request 7 weeks ago for my 40 dollar metro pcs rebate visa card and was told it takes 4 to 6 weeks to recieve the rebate by mail and i havent recieved anything now theyre saying it takes 6 to 12 weeks. Its nothing but a scam to get people to purchase products from them. I strongly urge anyone looking towards service from that company to look the other way. im trying to get a class action law suit against them for any one who has fallen into this trap. I had a 6 month issue with Parago regarding a refund to be issued due to a product purchased at FRYS. After being given the run around time and time again I found the CEO's phone # and name and reached out to her. I had my refund in a week. Call Julie Spottiswood at 972 538 **** Good Luck!
